KDF Energy stands for a Romanian legal body, established in 2002 to carry out activities within the energetic and environmental fields. KDF Energy, thus provides a wide range of competitive services connected to the CO2 allowances trading and CO2 portfolio administration.
As far as it concerns the CO2 emissions allowances trading, Romania is still a young market and it detains a huge potential. The main carbon promoters adapted to the Romanian market basically offer only a few products:

- SPOT agreements
- SWAP agreements
These products are an expression of the markets’ demand, as long as there are no activities regarding the optimisation and development of the carbon market.
